Reply:I do and essentially everyone I know who is between the ages of 16 and 26 also have it. I have 484 friends on it and I can only think of a handful of friends that don't have it. It's way better than MySpace.

What is face book?
A rip off of MySpace imo.
But speaking seriously... Most people that go into college advance from MySpace and into Facebook so that they may get into their colleges' Facebook network and keep in contact with their environment.

Facebook is a social networking site similar to MySpace. It used to be limited to college students only, however it has recently changed and now anyone with an e-mail address can get an account. While it is somewhat similar to MySpace, there are different features and different things that Facebook offers that MySpace does not. You can still upload photos, leave people comments, etc. It is also great for college students because you can be in a network with other students from your school, and you can also list your courses so that you can easily contact other students from your classes. I have an account and I prefer it to MySpace. Hope this helps! :)

I want to make a myspace but i hear that you can get kidnapped and junk from that. do you have to put your adress in there and your phone number and i dont want anybody knocking onmy door that i dont know so are you required to put Personal info? and is it easy to use? just whats your opinoin? which is better?

The key to staying safe is not to talk to people you dont know, and if you do, NEVER trust that they are who they say they are.

Those that get kidnapped have talked to strangers they thought were there age and agreed to meet up. Sometimes people post their address or favorite hang out place and they get kidnapped.
Myspace does require your first and last name and your email and birthdate while signing up. However, you can change your settings so people don't see when your birthday is. The last name and email is only for when people search for you.
Don't post your favorite hang out place.
Don't post your address.
Don't post your city, just your state (or country).
Don't post your school.
Stuff like that and you will be safe.
Set your profile as private so you can choose who views your profile.
You can even require people to fill in your last name or your email address to be able to add you!
If someone posts a comment on your page mentioning your last name or some other identifiable info, delete the comment after reading it. Comments friends make are the biggest danger in myspace. You can even find a code on the web on how to hide all your comments!
When signing up, give your real email adress. The names can be fake.

Facebook has very little customizing applications but you can add widgets or 'applications'. I find them huge and annoying. Many other think the same.
I like myspace better. IMHO.

couple of reasons are that sometimes the server crashes, someone reports a certain problem with the interface of the server, but mainly it is used to update certain things, add applications or options to users due to the fact that it is still behind myspace in # of users and overall ratings...
beating myspace in being a more safe cyberspace chatting area with less reports fo people gone missing

Why is face book so popular?
I have heard so much about it but also people posting their work places online then getting in trouble for it. Seems the young people don't know about representing a workplace and slander.
