Face book?

I have heard of a new site called face book theres some radio djs on it can I not chat to them useing it like a dating site and asking them out or is that rong. and is it not a dating site as I have never seen the site before only herd about it benig called face book. any advice?

Face book?
facebook is NOT a dating site, or at least not meant to be solely a dating site. it's like myspace on it's cooler, safe, and you can add aplications to your page and challenge/interact with your friends there. it's not new, it has millions of members and networks, such as "Harvard University" or "Microsoft Corporation" where you can add other peeps at you workplace/school/area to your friends. the URL is www.facebook.com check it out!
Reply:yeah its awsome.. i keep in touch with all my firends
Reply:yeah, facebook sucks
Reply:go to www.facebook.com

sign up and browse it for yourself - there are many uses for it.
Reply:First of all it is pretty tacky that you want to ask a DJ out on facebook. call into the radio station when they are on air and say something cool to them or look on the radio stations home page and email them and ask for a dinner date or something. Facebook is really for getting in touch with friends and family and sharing news, and pictures. Its just like myspace. Good Luck!!
Reply:ya. facebook is cool. its like myspace only better.
Reply:facebook is very fun...it is even more addicting than myspace... it truly is social networking
Reply:um what country do u live in[[seriously]]! facebook has been out for like a year or more. its so old.
Reply:Facebook is a network of peers with personal profile pages just like myspace.
Reply:Facebook was created for college students, and only access was available with a valid college email address. It's used to communicate and to connect with other people, not necissarily for dating purposes. Since then, it's been expanded to accomodate not only college students, but high school as well.

Nothing is wrong with looking for love on Facebook, however, you're better off signing up for a profile on a dating website, such as true.com.
