Deleting your Facebook account isn't as easy as it may sound. Yes, you do have to contact Facebook and they will delete it for you... BUT ONLY AFTER...





-you have delete every single photo


-application


-group


-friend


-network


-mini-feed


-message


- WALL POST! etc, etc, etc...





There must be NOTHING on your profile for Facebook to delete it. So if you have over 300 wall posts, it will become a big nuisance. One of my friends who recently deleted her account had over 2000 wall posts and it took her close to a month to delete all of them.





It's almost like Facebook's "payback" for wanting to leave their site. And the cruelest thing about it is after you've COMPLETELY STRIPPED your account, what's the point of wasting any more time to contact them again to complete the process when there's nothing to see on your profile anyways.





The easiest thing to do will be just to deactivate it, but the thing with that is all of your personal info will still remain.

Reply:Go to facebook make sure you're signed in at the home page click account (at the upper right hand corner) then look at the bottom you will see deactivate account on the right of that you will see it in blue just click that and follow the prompts.
Reply:After you log in click account at the top of the page and you will be able to deactivate your account from there, but to completely delete your account you will need to contact facebook and they will delete it for you. When you deactivate you can log back in with you email and password and everything will be there like you never left. Hope this helps.
