Is face book too open a forum to go on to?

Have heard it's open to all comers and anyone can access your details and your friends details. Worried about signing up. Any better ones ?

Yeah, they've opened it to everyone.


But you can still keep your information private. So, while someone can search your name, they won't be able to click on your profile or you can sign up with an alias, so that anyone trying to find you would have a hard time.

Reply:it depends on which network you go into and you can set your account so only people who are in your network can see your profile or set to that they can't see it unless they are your friend.
Reply:Facebook is cool....just got in contact with a friend from 15 years ago and my partner has found an old friends from 20 years ago...without being public we would never of found each other.


before you condemn it why not just have a go on it...you dont have to put much on it to start and you dont have to put your own picture on it either.





i find it very addictive in a cooool way...have fun if you try it.
