its just like myspace if you know of that
you can join your school network, (when you sign up)
you then add friends and communicate through "walls" which is where you talk to you and your friends

Also I'd like to add that you can "tag" your friends in pictures. Meaning if you upload a pic of you an a friend ou can tag them and their name shows on in the picture and the pic will appear in your friend's photo gallery. %26lt;---this is a cool feature!
plus facebook is way safer than myspace. And mostly all the users are in college (it was originally made for college students only) so it's way more mature!
