How long will a facebook account stay active? If a person is unable to log in for several months, possibly a year, will they still have their account? Thank you!

I didn't log into my account for over 9 months once and it was absolutely fine.
I don't think you should worry.
Reply:Yes they will still have their account. The account will be active for as long as facebook is around!
Reply:I'm not sure how long they would keep it active but i know of people who have not logged on for months at a time and theirs was fine, it also mentions in the legal bit that even a person who has died may be kept active if profile views are constant as a rememberance ting so i guess it should be fine for a year if some folk still look at it.
