Is face book safe for 11 year olds?

no it is not ...i have one and if you let alot of the applications get to you and you put too much information it can really mess you up and the drama it can create if you dont understand how to avoid it is devastating. also if you let peoples pictures influence the way u feel and their comments it can really hurt you...ive found a way to use it and not get into those things....i would suggest waiting till your much older cuz im not even sure how safe it is for high school students since i myself am one

i also recommend that you put in place some parental control software on your pc, and a key logger software to keep an eye on what your children are doing online...

on the network i go on the subjects are far to adults convo to let a child on, but we are very polite if someone young comes on and tells them they would be better of with a social networking to their age group.


one young boy came on telling us how a guy had tryed to come on to him in pm....not good for a young boy to go through.

I mean think about it, p0rn is never more than 2 mouse click away, and there's all the myspace-type bullies and child predators around. I wouldn't let an 11 year old use the internet unsupervised much less let them have a myspace account.
