I've entered my date of birth wrong on face book how can I change it?

I've miss typed the year on my date of birth for face book and whilst it seems fairly simple to change the day and month the year seems to be fixed.

You cannot change the year, only the date and month. If you only just created your profile, cancel your account and start from the beginning. Long way to do it but it seems like the only possible way. If you have typed up the information for your profile, copy it across into word so you can just paste it back into your new account.

Reply:does it matter? it's not like an insurance form or something where your age could affect anything.
Reply:Log in and click on "edit" next to profile at the top left hand side of your page. There you can change any details and save them.
Reply:i'm not sure you can change the year of your birthday, but its not that big of a deal. just only have your profile show the month and day and that way people wont know what year you are born. its better that way anyways. people dont need to know everything.
Reply:Don't change... never put your real birthday on those type of sites...
